produce high-quality and consistent products, which include yogurt (Dahi or Indian, Greek and traditional), smoothies / yogurt drinks, sour cream, and dips from single serve options to food service side. We are currently seeking a skilled Facility Porter to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our facility in Frederick Country, Virginia!   

 

About the Role  

As a Facility Porter at our yogurt processing facility, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, handling waste removal, and assisting with minor maintenance duties to ensure the facility is in top condition and ready for daily operations. 

 

Responsibilities 

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors 

• Emptying trash and recycling bins 

• Cleaning restrooms, including restocking supplies 

• Cleaning and disinfecting common areas 

• Washing windows and mirrors 

• Dusting furniture and equipment 

• Removing snow and ice from walkways 

• Assisting with minor repairs as needed 

• Moving furniture and equipment as required 

• Maintaining cleanliness of the facility's exterior 

 

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent  

• At least 1 year of experience in facilities cleaning or maintenance  

• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time 

• Attention to detail 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
